Established in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1874, the Regular Democratic Organization of Louisiana, or R.D.O., is the oldest continuing civic and political organization in the United States of America. The RDO has been speaking out for the working men and women of Louisiana for over 140 years.  The RDO stands for fiscal responsibility, respect for life and individual freedoms, and civic improvement for the Greater New Orleans area.

In the 1880's, the RDO successfully fought to establish city parks in New Orleans.  In the 1950's, the RDO successfully fought to establish the University of New Orleans.  The RDO continues today to better our community and to help elect qualified, competent and honest people to City, State, and National government in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Today, thousands of New Orleans voters rely on the RDO's "Pink Ballot" on Election Day.  Click on the "Endorsements" link on the left menu to see the RDO's endorsements for the upcoming elections!
